Even during the keynote when the newest iPod Nano was introduced, Steve Jobs mentioned one of the Apple execs intended to adapt it as a watch.
There is no shortage of watchband options out there, but one of the coolest I've seen is this one, using a classic 3/4" 'The Band' from Chums. This replacement watchband has been a fan favorite for decades among sports/outdoor enthusiasts.
The 20mm (standard) size is the perfect width in my tests to securely clip on the iPod Nano. And with hemp, standard or wide band options in 20mm size, everybody should be able to find one that suits them well.
$6.99 is also a steal in comparison to many of the other iPod® Nano watchband options and The Band has been around since the 1980's, improved and perfected as the world's best replacement action sports watchband option.

Shown are two recent shots of my TOMY Mad Masher - Monster Machine. I scored this unit for Christmas in 1986. Played with it indoors, on and off for a few years. I drove it up and down stairs and over the top of my younger siblings as they lay on the floor. One of my nephews abused it back when I was in high school (I think that is when the one smoke stack went missing) so I took it from the 'toy pool' and secured it away in a box. I pulled it out a few years ago when my oldest son was a few years old. He was amazed and loved to play with it together with his younger brother. The boys still want me to get it down from time to time, but it rarely gets touched. Still one of the all-time coolest motorized truck gems from the 80's—ranking right up there with my old Stompers and of course 'The Animal' and 'Water Demon'.

We've discovered a fabulous new pumpkin pie recipe we'll be trying for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. Some of you may have seen this already circulating on emails as "How Pumpkin Pies Are Made." Not revolutionary, but still pretty funny. Happy Thanksgiving!
